Coal is mined north of Kuei-lin and south of Liu-chou. Iron is mined in the area near the Kwangtung&amp;#150;Hunan border as well as in southeastern Kwangsi. Other exploited mineral resources include tin (of which Kwangsi is a major producer), tungsten, manganese, and antimony.
